My number one goal is to create a safe space where you feel heard, understood, and supported.

About Tess

I came to psychotherapy through my own experience of it. After years working in commercial production, I experienced burnout, and therapy gave me the space to process what I was carrying and understand myself more deeply. That experience showed me the profound impact therapy can have - not just in managing symptoms,
but in fundamentally changing how we relate to ourselves and our lives.

Here's what I believe: therapy works when you feel genuinely seen and understood. The techniques matter, but what matters most is the relationship - whether you feel safe enough to be honest, whether you trust the person sitting across from you, whether the space feels right.

I'm warm and empathetic in how I work. I form strong connections with my clients because I'm genuinely invested in their wellbeing and growth. I don't have a rigid approach - I meet each person where they are and adapt based on what they need. Some sessions might focus on exploring patterns from the past, others on practical strategies for managing anxiety or stress. It depends entirely on you and what's most helpful.

I hold a Higher Diploma and Master's degree in Psychotherapy and am a fully accredited practitioner with the Integrative and Humanistic Association of Ireland (IAHIP). My approach draws from person-centered, psychodynamic and gestalt traditions, with elements of CBT when useful. But honestly, the labels matter less than whether we're a good fit.

What can you can expect from working with me? A space without judgment, someone who listens deeply, and a collaborative process where your experience and intuition are valued as much as my training. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, relationship struggles, trauma, or the emotional weight of fertility challenges, I'm here to support you through it.

I work with adults at my practice in Clontarf, Dublin 3, and online. If you're curious about whether we might work well together, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation. Sometimes a brief conversation is all it takes to know if it feels right.
